Oh my gosh, Devon and Michael’s Ceresville Mansion wedding was to die for!! The bride and groom, the guests, the details, everything about this entire day was just perfection. When I arrived, the girls were getting ready and having the best time. I really think that this is one of the underrated parts of a wedding day. What’s more fun than some champagne and girl time with your closest friends? While they put the final touches on their hair and make up, I got down to work photographing the details. One of the most special details that really stood out to me was Devon’s garter belt, which has been passed down through the women in hear family, each writing the future bride a sweet note. This was such a neat tradition!
The wedding ceremony took place out in the cupola on a perfect fall day. We had amazing weather, and the ceremony itself was beautiful. After the ceremony we headed out for some portraits, and then it was off to the reception!
Everyone gave beautiful speeches toasting the happy couple, but when it came down to it the maid of honor stole the show by singing her entire speech! She totally brought the house down. After dinner we decided to sneak outside one more time to do a few night shots, which are some of my absolute favorite shots of all time!
After that we spent the rest of the night dancing and having a total blast. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for these two lovebirds!
