This VRBO nestled into the woods in Mechanicsburg PA was such a fun location for Emily and Joe’s engagement session! Emily rented the property for her bachelorette weekend, but as a photographer herself she saw the potential that the space provided for portraits.
We started out inside with some cozy photos on the giant, L shaped couch. I knew when I saw the listing for this space that I wanted to do some snuggly portraits here! After that, we headed outdoors to explore the property which had so many options!
As we wandered around the property getting to know each other better, it felt like we were all just hanging out with old friends! That is exactly the feeling I strive for at every session, because it truly helps you to feel so comfortable in front of the camera.
Emily opted for an outfit change for the next part of our session and let me tell you, that dress is one of the cutest things i’ve ever seen! It’s from Lisa Says Gah and it was such a fun statement piece. After a round of portraits where we really leaned into the yellow tones of the house, we had one final outfit change and headed back to the pool.
As the sun set and we wrapped up, Emily and Joe cooled off by dipping their toes into the water. We were all tempted for a jump into the pool to end the session, but with dinner plans afterwards it wasn’t in the cards! These two are getting married in Mechanicsburg PA tomorrow, and I am so hype for their wedding day!
