When your wedding day rolls around, you have a million different things to think about and prepare. The last thing you want to be doing when your photographer arrives is scrambling around on a scavenger hunt trying to gather up all of your flat lay details. You should be getting pampered, hanging out with your people, and enjoying yourself! That’s why i’ve put together a comprehensive list of items for you to prepare ahead of time, so you have one less thing to think about and worry over when your wedding day arrives.

These items are important because they help tell the whole story of your wedding day. My job is to capture your day and to tell your love story as accurately as possible, and the wedding details are a huge part of that!

Also important to note, details are the very first thing that I photograph at every wedding, so having them prepped and ready to go also means time is being utilized more efficiently. I love when my time is used in the most productive way possible; It’s good for me, and for you too! My recommendation is to put everything into your shoe box or a plastic container so I can grab it and get right to work.

Here are the suggested items to have prepared:

• Invitations (Full Suite and Save the Date!)
• Engagement Ring and BOTH Wedding Bands
• Wedding Attire (Dress, Suit, etc.)
• Custom Hanger
• Ring Box or Ring Dish (I love the customizable ones from The Mrs. Box!)
• Wedding Shoes
• Veil or Hairpiece
• Socks (I love all the fun options that Sock it to Me has!)
• Tie or Bowtie
• Tie Clip
• Watch
• Cufflinks
• Earrings
• Necklace
• Any Additional Jewelry
• Keepsakes (Something Old, New, Borrowed, Blue, handkerchiefs, sixpence/pennies, etc.)
• Perfume/Cologne
• Wedding Bouquet and spare florals from your florist if they’re willing to provide them!
• Boutonnières
• Gifts/Letters from your Fiancé
• Vow Books
• Anything else you think is fun! (dice, sunglasses, seashells, the possibilities are endless!)
  
  
  

It’s important to note that this list is extensive, and most people will not have every item on this list. Just gather the things you do have, and don’t worry about scrambling to incorporate the ones you don’t!
