What a gorgeous summer day we had for Mary and Ik’s Ridley Creek engagement session! I had been looking forward to meeting these two in person for so long, especially after having to reschedule this session for inclement weather.
These two high school sweethearts got engaged at a local park where Ik hollowed out a Grey’s Anatomy book (Mary’s favorite show) with a ring box inside. The recited a poem he wrote and then got down on one knee!
We walked and talked and it was so sweet to see these two interact with each other. They are getting married at Loch Aerie Mansion next June. They told me all about the plans they have for their wedding day and it’s going to be absolutely perfect! One thing I am particularly excited for is their kola nut ceremony. Be sure to keep an eye out in 2024 for their wedding day photos!
