What do you get when you mix The Bond, Star Wars, a fantastic taste in music, and a super crafty bride and groom? Well, duh, you get Karla and Andrew’s May 4th wedding!
Karla and I became fast friends when we both joined the Black Rose Rollers back in 2012, so when she asked me to be the one to photograph her wedding I was especially honored! I knew that her and Andrew would have a wedding that was completely, uniquely “them” and I think we can all agree they NAILED IT.
One of the things these two connected over during their time dating was a love of music, so they heavily featured it throughout their wedding day. All of those elements were hand crafted by the way! I thought it was really unique and special that each table was themed to a different album/artist that was meaningful to them and their relationship together.
It’s impossible to get married on May 4th and not include some Star Wars elements. So of course there were lots of those sprinkled in throughout the day. My personal favorite touch was the tie clip that Andrew wore with the classic Han and Leia moment!
I could go on for hours and hours about all the unique and special touches this wedding day had, but i’ll let you scope those out for yourself! However, can’t forget to touch on the one thing that was most important to both Karla and Andrew, which was having their two puppers included as part of the ceremony. Riggins rockin’ that tux and Riley with her fancy floral leash is one of the cutest thing i’ve ever seen!
I have said it once, i’ll say it a thousand more times. GIMME ALL THE DOGS PLEASE. <3
