LILLY + BRETT – JERUSALEM MILLS ENGAGEMENT

Seriously, how dang cute are Lilly and Brett?! We headed down right after Christmas to Jerusalem Mills for their engagement session. I’m just over here swooning over how adorable these two are together. We managed to get snow on the ground for our photos, but we actually got lucky and caught a pretty warm day for it being December. Ambiance and comfort, best of both worlds!

I love all the old stone and wood texture that comes with Jerusalem Mills. Plus, they were still decorated for Christmas! It’s an amazing location for engagements and I loved getting to explore it with these two. We even stopped in to the blacksmith cottage to watch them work for a few minutes at the end of our session! I am not a big  gamer, but one of the games that I did love to play was Fable. I mentioned to them that watching the blacksmith reminded me of this game, and Brett had played it before and totally agreed! I’ve been dying to play it again ever since, one of these days i’m going to get around to it.

Lilly and Brett are getting hitched in May of this year at Greektown Square and it’s going to be a blast! Lilly chose a gorgeous color palette of dusty blues and grays, silvers, and a hint of yellow. It’s going to be so gorgeous so keep your eyes peeled for their wedding on the blog later this year.
