This weather lately has been so crazy and inconsistent! 75 and sunny one day, below freezing and windy the next! Mary Beth was hoping and hoping for some good snow that we could utilize for this combo engagement/family session. We waited, we hoped, we crossed our fingers, and over the months of November to February…. we got nada. Eventually we realized that it just wasn’t in the cards and went ahead and scheduled our session. Wouldn’t you know it, the day after our session we got over a foot of snow! It’s funny how these things work out, but I think this family made the best of the situation and these photos are a great reflection of their fun personalities!
We walked around as a big group through downtown Westminster, MD exploring different areas. I knew there was this nice, bright turquoise wall near by, so that’s where we ventured first! Sometimes a nice bright wall of color just hits the spot.
The girls were so fun and silly to be around, and they LOVED jumping pictures! So of course, we had to get one of the whole family jumping together!
It was a very blustery, windy day out and about, so after a while we all needed a break and to warm up a bit. I knew the perfect spot would be Birdies Cafe! If you’ve never been there and are in the Westminster area it’s a fantastic little coffee shop and definitely worth stopping at!
Mary Beth and Stephen are getting Married this June, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding! They’re such a fun laid back couple, and they’re all about family. Plus, there’s going to be a pizza truck. I mean, you know a couple is pretty awesome when they hire a pizza truck to cater the wedding!
