Can we talk for a second about how adorable Cherie Anne’s Courtyard Cafe in York PA is?! I saw this little gem on an Instagram post and IMMEDIATELY had to go visit there! The owner is absolutely lovely, and was very accommodating when I asked her if she would be OK with a photographer using her space. I decided that since it’s the “off” season, i’d plan a little bitty styled shoot, something for myself!
I love vibrancy and color, and this eclectic location called for something fun, and different. So, I knew that Alana and Michael would be the perfect models! (That pink and turquoise hair is the stuff of my DREAMS, I want it for myself!) I asked her if they would like to do it, and thankfully they said yes! All that we needed from there was a killer dress (Modcloth, $36!) and some gorgeous flowers courtesy of the amazingly talented Root to Bloom and we were all set!
Of course, when you plan photos in February, weather is a factor. So yes, it was FREEZING that day. Alana and Michael were so wonderful and handled it like champs! Luckily with our location, when we were finished we were able to head inside for some warm beverages to help us defrost. Make sure if you’re ever in York, PA that you stop in to Cherie Anne’s for a drink and some great ambiance!
